Doi Inthanon
This all day tour takes you to the highest point in Thailand
visiting Royal Chedis and waterfalls along the way.

We drive south and west from Chiang Mai into the Doi Inthanon national
park where after a little over 2 hours we reach Thailand's highest point,
the summit of Doi Inthanon at 2,565 metres above sea level.

From the summit we drive back down the
mountain calling to visit the twin royal Chedis with their
spectacular surrounding gardens. The first Chedi was built by the
Royal Thai Air Force to commemorate His Majesty King Bhumibol's 60th
Birthday in 1987 and the second Chedi was built to commemorate Her
Majesty Queen Sirikit's 60th birthday in 1992.

Leaving the two Chedis we will call for lunch and afterwards we continue down the mountain visiting the magnificent
Wachiratharn Waterfall as it thunders down a granite
escarpment creating a beautiful mist and a permanent rainbow. From here we
return to Chiang Mai.
