Tree Top Safari and White Water Rafting
Fly from tree to another tree over the jungle and rafting Mae Tang River
We will collect you from PJ's Place around 8:30am for the drive out to
our adventure centre and from there we take you high into the canopy using an ingenious
system of platforms, tree houses, cables and sky bridges totalling over 2 km.
For thrill seekers and nature
lovers alike there has never been a more exciting way to explore the beautiful forest. You will
use zip lines from tree to tree from the cliffs, over the valley and across the river
with cables of different lengths,
speed and height. There are more than 18 platforms where you will use
zip lines varying in length from 20 Meters then 30, 90, 150…to…180 meters,
stretching across the river which is the high and longest in
Northern Thailand.
In the afternoon you will have lunch (vegetarian if required) and be fitted out with
helmets and life jackets etc. prior to receiving safety instructions
essential for the full enjoyment of your White Water Rafting experience.
The raft ride is a truly memorable experience through winding gorges,
lush jungle and magnificent terraced rice fields. You will paddle
through breathtaking canyons for unparalleled fun on the river. There
are 14 rapids to pass through ranging from grade 2 up to grade 4
depending on the river. Anyone not wishing to raft through the higher
grades can walk through that section and rejoin their raft lower down.
The journey takes around two hours.
Finally, help to carry your rafts ashore at the finish camp and
change into dry clothes before taking some refreshment and the hour
journey back to PJ's Place arriving at around 5:30pm.
